"Due to arthritis and the wearing away of my cartilage, I had to have a hip replacement in 2008 at age 56. The following year, I was ballroom dancing and I soon got caught up in the challenge of learning all genres’ of dance i.e., country, swing and Latin on top of the ballroom. I could never have danced with the pain I had been having. Dr. Lynch was my surgeon and I couldn't have been happier. Fast-forward to 2011 and I had to stop dancing due to severe back pain. Turns out that arthritis had deteriorated the vertebrae in my lower back and this time Dr. Shuster was my surgeon. Once again, I could not have been happier. I started dancing again after a few months, but then my other hip began to give me trouble and instead of waiting as long as I did with the first hip replacement, I went ahead and had it replaced by Dr. Lynch exactly one year after my back surgery.  After a few months recovery, I was back on the dance floor and can now dance with the best of them. No one can tell that I have had any surgeries at all.  Aside from my back getting a bit tired once in a while and little pinches now and then, I am doing very well thanks to the great surgeons at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists." -- Anne H.
