Timothy Pekari, P.A.-C.

Timothy Pekari joined Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in 2026 and practices at the North Spokane Clinic.

Timothy is an experienced orthopedic physician assistant with an extensive background in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, urgent care, and upper-extremity conditions. Prior to joining NWOS, he practiced with the Colorado Center of Orthopaedic Excellence, working alongside a hand and upper-extremity orthopedic surgeon and caring for patients with conditions and injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. His experience includes new patient evaluation, fracture care, urgent orthopedic care, postoperative care, and treatment of both acute and chronic upper-extremity conditions.

Timothy has also served for many years as an orthopedic surgery physician assistant in the U.S. Army, providing care for acute, chronic, and traumatic orthopedic conditions in both hospital and deployed settings. His military experience has included orthopedic trauma management, surgical assistance, emergency care, and leadership and education of physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.

Timothy earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He later completed a Doctor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Baylor University and a Master of Science in Health Professions Education from the Uniformed Services University.

He has also served in academic faculty roles with the Uniformed Services University, Baylor University, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
