Job Description

We are looking for a team member to provide leadership for the MRI service line at NWOS. The MRI Technologist will:


• Operates 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes under the direction of the physician
• Performs related patient care and technological functions according to established protocols to ensure optimal diagnostic quality utilizing efficient and safe practices
• Provides patient safety evaluation and ensures the patient is properly informed about their procedure and that all required consent forms are signed prior to examination
• Adheres to safety policy and procedures in performing job duties
• Performs duties independently and according to established company procedures and practices
• Provides direction, supervision, and training for other MRI service line employees
• Supports MRI equipment service vendor to provide preventative maintenance of equipment
• Provides a professional atmosphere with positive, respectful, and considerate interactions with patients, patient families, and other employees



Required Skills and Experience

Experience and Education Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
• Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
• ARRT Certification
• Washington State Department of Health License
• Certified in CPR/First Aid
• Management or Lead experience preferred
