Joint Preservation Center

-A +A
The Joint Preservation Center at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is designed to provide our joint patients comprehensive education and exceptional care through the combined knowledge, experience, and expertise of our specialty-trained surgeons.

Welcome to our Joint Preservation Center

Stable, healthy joints permit patients to pursue active lives without pain or functional limitations. Unfortunately, injuries or gradual deterioration of the joints may end an athletic career or significantly limit participation in recreational or work activities.

Joint preservation surgery may be the right choice for patients who wish to remain active, relieve pain, and preserve their own joints. Though the surgeons of Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists perform hundreds of successful joint replacements each year, alternative treatments can also be very successful. These procedures include ligament reconstructions, cartilage restoration procedures, meniscal allografts, and realignment procedures for the lower extremity. Combinations of these procedures may be required depending upon specific circumstances.

Our joint preservation surgeons, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Keeve, Dr. Kersten, Dr. Kody, Dr. Lynch, Dr. McDonald, Dr. Olson, Dr. VanderWilde, and Dr. Wallace, have the expertise and experience to help you select the treatment that is most appropriate for your specific problem and to optimize your recovery.

Patient Consultation

The Joint Preservation Center at Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists provides our joint patients access to consultation Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Prior to your consultation, new patients will be asked to complete forms, which include medical history, demographic, and insurance information. This information, along with any current diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI), will be utilized by your doctors to help in your diagnosis and treatment plan.
